About the Artist

Stephen Gamson is a multimedia American Pop Artist whose work is instantly recognizable for its bold color, iconic symbols and universal appeal. His paintings, large-scale aluminum sculptures, murals, prints and mixed media distills the spirit of Miami and the world into a clean, graphic visual language that speaks to viewers of every age, culture and background.

Gamson began art classes at age five and spent much of his youth visiting artists’ studios and museums immersing himself in art history and the techniques of art making. His signature style took shape during travels through Russia, where he became fascinated with universal symbols that communicate across different languages. That idea remains at the heart of his practice today, as familiar forms such as the human figure, the sun and the flag are reimagined as vivid emblems of optimism and connection.

Gamson’s work has been exhibited at Art Basel Miami Beach with Plage Magazine, Art Miami, Scope Art Fair, Art Hamptons and in New York City on the NASDAQ Jumbotron in Times Square as well as in solo and group exhibitions internationally. Gamson’s collectors include A-List Celebrities, Politicians, Actors, Musicians, Athletes, Business Leaders and Royalty such as Sir Richard Branson, Prince Albert II of Monaco and Olivia Newton John to name a few.

The Gamson mark has elevated brands including Bacardi, Café Bustelo, Lamborghini, Brera Orologi, Fisker Automotive, UGG Australia and Lamborghini. He has been named an official artist for the Monaco Grand Prix, Sony Open, Miami Beach Polo World Cup, ING Miami Marathon, Necker Cup, Bacardi Cup, Sarasota Polo, Sundance Film Festival and the City of Miami’s Birthday Celebration.

Beyond the studio, Gamson’s art has supported hundreds of charitable causes. In recognition of his contributions to the community, the City of Miami Beach proclaimed December 3rd as “Stephen Gamson Day.” and he also holds the Key to Miami-Dade County. 

Gamson lives and works in Miami, where his studio in the Wynwood Arts District keeps him immersed in the multicultural, vibrant surroundings that continue to inspire his work.
